RIDE
RIDE IS AN MONTHLY EVENT FOR PARTY PEOPLE IN SINGAPORE WITH A LOVE FOR MUSIC, PEOPLE, VIBES & SOUL. IF YOU THINK YOU GOT SOME OF THIS THEN COME ALONG FOR THE RIDE.
RIDE was born about half a year ago at when a Swiss fellow who lives in Singapore was looking to host a birthday party in the fashion he used to party back in Europe. He had a hard time to find what he was looking for – a non pretentious, no frills bar / club night with rock solid electronic music, outgoing and fun people. Approaching two friends – both DJs from Switzerland and Germany who have been spinning across Europe since the mid 90′s and recently relocated to Singapore – together they laid the fundament of what is now known as RIDE.
That first night to celebrate a birthday, around 100 like-minded people turned up and took the roof of the place. Overwhelmed by the interest in Singapore for a somewhat “different” night with a European club-night-touch, they went on and organized one RIDE after another with continuous success in e6er changing locations. Of which all had in common that they were yet little known but have a lot of charm and offered a very welcome contrast to the existing Singapore nightlife landscape. The next RIDE takes off this coming saturday 21st July in a little known but yet very charming and intimate bar call Hyde at Boat Quay. For august and later in the year, there is a pipeline of larger but nonetheless unique and in their own way “boutique” clubs.
Highest priority for the RIDE organization is to stick to is values no matter how large RIDE can and will grow: RIDE is a noncommercial, no frills night out experience with the highest quality music in its field and some of the most talented DJs in this town. It aims to attract fun loving, outgoing people from anywhere and everywhere and most importantly, it want all RIDErs to have a blast of a night!
